Last week we covered plenty of places to get your holiday shopping done in North Park, but we have many more places to visit in Jackson County that will help you find that ideal gift. From gift cards to handcrafted items created by local artisans and everything in between, be sure to add these places to your itinerary on your next visit this holiday season.

Timberline Builder Supply

A trusted hardware and builder supply store for over fifty years, Timberline not only has lumber, fittings, and fixtures for all of your DIY projects, it’s also a great place to find gifts this holiday season. From woodworking tools and materials, to plumbing, and even large appliances, it’s a great place to source supplies for your next project. You can also find toys, pet supplies, hunting and fishing equipment, and even souvenirs to commemorate your latest visit to North Park. 

Corkle’s Minimart

Stop by to resupply for your camping or fishing trip with a selection of snacks, cold beverages, and heat and eat meals when you are on the move. The attached gift shop provides a wide assortment of hats and hoodies, t-shirts, bumper stickers, mugs and more to get into the gift giving spirit.

Sinclair Station

On the corner of 6th and Main Street in Walden, you’ll know this location by the distinctive green dinosaur out front. Not only can you fill up the tank on your way through town, but you can choose from plenty of snacks, ice cream, drinks, and even renew your fishing license. Like the Minimart, the Sinclair station has you covered when it comes to North Park and Walden bumper stickers, hats, and other souvenirs. Stop by and see what you can find for stocking stuffers, outdoor sporting goods, and more.

North Park Supers

One of the spots in Walden to get groceries, North Park Supers also has a selection of books written by local authors you’ll want to add to your bookcase. The dollar store, sporting goods section, toy section, and other shopping venues attached to Supers might just be where you find that elusive gift for a picky loved one. You can find Walden shot glasses, keychains, t-shirts, hats, and sweatshirts to which make great gifts!

Rand Store

Closing the year out in 2025, the Rand Store is a hidden gem among shops in Jackson County. If you visit the Old Homestead, Teller City, or just pass through on the road to Granby, no drive through Rand is complete without stopping at the Rand Store. You will find stuffed animals, a wide selection of books—historical, fiction, local authors, guidebooks—as well as hats and hoodies, t-shirts, and so much more. Even though the Rand Store is closing for winter, they will be back in the spring! Stop by to check out one of the most underrated shops in northern Colorado nestled in a historic turn-of-the-last century building.

Moose Visitor Center

Are you cutting your own Christmas tree this year? How about taking a snowmobile excursion once the snow starts to fall? The Moose Visitor Center has been a great place to stop on the way through Gould for visitors coming over through Cameron Pass for nearly thirty years! 

As one of the sites in Jackson County you are most likely to see moose any time of year, as well as the information location for anything you need to know about Colorado State Forest State Park, it’s also a wonderful spot to search for gifts. 

From stuffed animals to nature books, activities during the winter such as the annual Christmas Tree farm, and moonlight snowshoe/ski hikes or yurt glamping, be sure to add it to your list of stops on your favorite navigation app before you head out.

• Stockman Bar and Grill: The Stockman is our local watering hole with plenty of atmosphere and colorful characters. There’s a reason it has been around for generations. Each year, the Stockman hosts free Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for locals, travelers, and anyone who wants to attend. Bring a dish if you wish and enjoy the local hospitality. Support local small businesses this Black Friday! The recent Harvest Craft Festival in Walden, CO brought out all the most talented people in Jackson County with the best of what they have been working on all year long. But a craft show isn’t the only place to check out what these artisans and independent craftsmen have for sale.

From gunsmithing to photography, glass blowing to handcrafted soaps, candles, clothing and more, these talented folks are sure to have something in store for even the pickiest person on your list. Holiday Craft Festival

On December 12th and 13th 2025, the Holiday Craft Festival will be the last days of the year when all the small businesses and artisans come out to play for the Christmas season. Come for A North Park Christmas and stay for the Holiday Craft Festival to find that perfect gift before time runs out. 3pm-6pm on Dec 12 and 10am-4pm on Dec 13th.
