North Sand Hills
North Sand Hills OHV Area covers 700 acres of sand dunes open to ATVs and 4wd vehicles. It is the only sand off-highway vehicle area in Colorado, providing a unique opportunity to enthusiasts.
From Steamboat Springs, Take US 40 south and east of town, then turn northeast onto CO Hwy 14. Continue on for 35 miles to Walden. Follow the signs from Walden to the OHV area.
